About Us

Our nature provides us with the best foods and beverages. CeyTas, the name bridges the relationship between Ceylon (Cey), the old name for Sri Lanka and Tasmania (Tas) through a string of tea leaves. Both Sri Lankans and Tasmanians as islanders enjoy “The Best of Green Nature”. Tasmania is gifted with many natural resources which include flora and fauna unmatched to anywhere in the world. Yet, Tasmanians love to enjoy all kinds of tea with real tea taste. Whilst exploring the possibilities in Tasmania, CeyTas came to fill this gap by presenting garden-fresh finest quality Ceylon Tea with the real taste of tea.

Relishing tea is an art, not just a habit of life. The art of tea demands the finest quality of elegance, not just the flavour. Ever since James Tailor, the pioneer of the tea industry of Ceylon shipped Ceylon Tea to London Tea Auction in 1875, it has gained popularity throughout the world and renowned as the world’s best tea for over 145 years. The tea industry provides direct employment to over 500,000 Sri Lankans. Activities such as ground preparation, planting, growing, plucking, processing, and packing involve a lot of human labour. You are helping to uplift the living standards of these people and their loved ones living thousands of miles away from your home whilst enjoying a cup of tea. Even one day you would like to see the picturesque tea gardens and have a relaxed holiday with those people to feel their lives.

Next to water, tea is the most-consumed beverage in the world. The most significant health-promoting properties of tea lie in the antioxidants it contains. Antioxidants help to remove harmful toxins from the bloodstream. Our product portfolio consists of black tea, green tea, white tea, speciality tea, flavoured tea, and impressive souvenirs containing a collection of teas to celebrate your memorable moments. It is said that one cup of white tea contains a high concentration of antioxidants as ten cups of apple juice.  Our teas are directly brought to Tasmania from centuries-old royal touched tea estates in Sri Lanka. We extend this benefit to our valued customers by presenting premium quality finest Ceylon Tea at a very attractive price. Customer delight through the highest quality is the policy religiously followed by our company. We have dedicated ourselves to meet the choice of tea lovers.
